Abstract

The knowledge of water exchange reaction mechanism in aqueous solutions of Gd3+ polyaminocarboxylates is important for the understanding of the relatively slow water exchange rates measured for these complexes. Variable ressure measurements show a change of mechanism from associatively activated on [Gd(H2O)8]3+ and [Gd(PDTA)(H2O2)2]? to probably limiting dissociative on the MRI contrast agents [Gd(DOTA)(H2O)]?, [Gd(DTPA)(H2O)]2? and [Gd(DTPA-BMA)(H2O)].  相似文献

In this paper, the compressibility studies of triolein up to 1 GPa at temperature range from 10°C to 50°C have been presented. The discontinuity of V(p) relation, characteristic for the first-order phase transition was observed. At higher temperatures (40°C and above), the time necessary for the phase transition rises considerably. Also the pressure–volume hysteresis due to the phase formation–decomposition cycle was enlarged.  相似文献

Abstract

The response of suspensions of spices and spice mixtures in water to high pressure treatment was investigated. Inactivation of the microbial load–mainly aerobic and unaerobic spore formers–was strongly dependent on water activity and temperature. Samples were completely decontaminated after three pressure cycles (30 min at 80 MPa followed by 30 min at 350 MPa) at 70 °C at a minimum water activity of 0.91. Pressure treated samples were examined for sensory and chemical changes. No significant changes in odour and appearance were recognized by a trained sensory panel, nor were changes in the volatile compounds of the samples detected by static headspace gaschromatography.  相似文献

Abstract

Here we report what we believe to be the first observation of the pressure dependence of the light hole behavior in a modulation doped In0.18Ga0.82As/GaAs single strained quantum well grown by MBE. Transport measurements have been undertaken as a function of temperature (4–300K) and hydrostatic pressure (4–8kbar). Hole mobilities of ~17000 cm2/Vs have been obtained for sheet carrier densities of ~3.3×1011 cm?2. At low temperatures (<100K) persistent photogenerated holes have been observed. The hole mobility is found to decrease with increasing pressure at a rate intermediate between that typically observed for holes and electrons in bulk III-V semiconductors.  相似文献

Abstract

A helium pressure appparatus for diode laser studies up to 1.4 GPa at 77–300 K has been developed. DH lasers with AlxGa1-xAsySb1-y active layers (x=0-0.05) lattice-matched to GaSb substrates have been investigated. It has been shown that in lasers with x,y=0 pressure dependences of the threshold current density (Jth) and the average electron lifetime at the threshold (τ) measured at 80 K depend strongly on the quadratic recombination of Lc 6 electrons, the characteristic coefficient being 1.5×10?11 cm3s?1. The pressure-composition equivalence coefficient dx/dP=2.2×10?10 Pa?1 has been obtained for the lowest temperatures used.  相似文献

Abstract

Vibrational spectra of face-centered cubical (f.c.c.) solids are investigated at the pressure region, where the quantum-statistical model for the electron energy is applicable. Phonon dispersion curves are obtained for different values of the specific volume. The integration of the phonon spectra over the Brillouin zone yields the zero-point vibrational energy, the Debye temperature, the Gruneisen coefficient, mean-square amplitude of zero-point and thermal vibration, the melting temperature. All quantities under consideration are calculated from the universal functions of the reduced volume, using the scaling relations for given atomic number 2.  相似文献

Abstract

We have synthesized the rhombohedrally distorted perovskite phase of LaCuO3 by reacting mixtures of La2O3 and CuO in an oxygen rich atmosphere at 1500°C and 6.5 GPa. We find this phase to be metastable; at 410°C and ambient pressure, it undergoes an irreversible transition to a tetragonal structure. By selective replacement of some or all of the La or Cu with one or more of the following elements: Ba, Ca, Cr, Ni, Pb, Sc, Sr, Ti, Y, Zn, and Zr, over 150 different alloys have been formed. Magnetic susceptibility measurements have failed to reveal the presence of superconductivity in any of these new polymorphs.  相似文献

We report a synchrotron energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction study of the novel high explosive 1,1-diamino-2,2-dinitroethylene at high pressures and high temperatures. Pressure was generated using a Paris–Edinburgh cell to employ larger sample volumes. High temperatures were created using a resistive graphite cylinder surrounding the sample. The PT phase diagram was explored in the 3.3 GPa pressure range and in the ~ 400°C temperature range. We believe that the sample commenced in the α-phase and then ended up in an amorphous phase when the temperature increased beyond 280°C near 2 GPa, which we believe to be the γ-phase. Further pressure and temperature cycling suggests that the sample transformed reversibly into and out of the amorphous phase near the phase line.  相似文献

High-pressure treatment, e.g. used as an alternative method for food preservation, affects protein cross-linking and glycation reactions. These reactions were monitored by using mainly milk proteins in the absence and presence of different saccharides or dicarbonyl compounds. Without carbohydrates, protein cross-linking of casein is enhanced by pressure through the formation of dehydroalanine-derived lysinoalanine. A similar effect can be observed in wool, where pressure accelerates the formation of lanthionine. In contrast, saccharide or dicarbonyl compound-induced cross-linking is constrained by high pressures. Despite this, pressure is able to accelerate the degradation of sugar or carbonyl compounds, as could be seen by the measurement of their residual contents in the examined test preparations.  相似文献

Abstract

The temperature dependences of the resistivity of La0.7Ca0.3Mn1?xFexO3 and La0.7Ca0.3Mn1?xFexO3 (0 < × < 0.04) mixed crystals were studied under hydrostatic pressures up to 15kbar. The substitution of Fe for Mn results in an increase of the resistivity and a continuous decrease of the metal-insulator transition temperature Tmi while the substitution of Ge for Mn leads to a more complicated Tmi(x)-curve. In all cases Tmi shifts under pressure with a rate between 1.6 and 2.9K/kbar and a correlation between Tmi and its pressure derivative dTmi/dP is observed which is in accordance with the general trend of dTmi/dP versus Tmi as derived for other manganites and is discussed in terns of a competition between superexchange and double exchange.  相似文献
